Music plays out
of an iPhone in Marshall Gould’s, 20, pocket. He and his dance partner
Bailey McCully (left), 20, are warming up with a dance before Swing Kids’ Wednesday meeting begins. Swing Kids is a WWU club that provides
a free venue for people of all ages to come and learn swing dancing. “Swing
dancing is a cool way to just be a part of something while having fun and being
expressive,” Marshall says. Marshall also helps beginner swing dancers in the
main lesson portion of the meetings. “Dancing is our hobby,” Bailey said,
“Swing Kid is a really fun way of sharing it while learning how to get better
at it.”
