Sasquatch! 2014

I'm photo dumping some pictures I took at the Sasquatch! campgrounds.
It was an unreal time and I had so much fun!

The camp sight illuminated by a cooler that a camper made that is solar powered and had a stereo built into it. The colored light on the side changed colors with the music.

Photo Assignment: Stand Alone

Siting in a secluded area in Academic Center West, Tyler Norton, 20, relaxes while doing work before his 3 p.m. class. “I had a quiet Memorial Day weekend but I didn’t do enough work,” Tyler said,  “Long weekends always screw me over and then I struggle to get work done last minute.”

Photo Assignment: Capture Motion

Music plays out of an iPhone in Marshall Gould’s, 20, pocket. He and his dance partner Bailey McCully (left), 20, are warming up with a dance before Swing Kids’ Wednesday meeting begins. Swing Kids is a WWU club that provides a free venue for people of all ages to come and learn swing dancing. “Swing dancing is a cool way to just be a part of something while having fun and being expressive,” Marshall says. Marshall also helps beginner swing dancers in the main lesson portion of the meetings. “Dancing is our hobby,” Bailey said, “Swing Kid is a really fun way of sharing it while learning how to get better at it.”

Photo Dump

These are just some pictures from the past month that I took and I like. I didn't want them just sitting on my computer so I thought I'd post them here.

Photo Assignment: Capture Emotion/ Relationship

Grant, Carissa and Justyna Henderson 15, 3 and 20
After taking pictures with her older siblings, Carissa Henderson, 3, isn't ready to say goodbye. “If we stop, sissy has to go back to school,” Carissa says, “I don’t want her to leave now.” Justyna Henderson, 20, attends Central Washington University and is visiting home for Easter. Justyna has class early Monday morning and leaves tonight to go back to Ellensburg. “Don’t worry turkey, I’ll be back before you know it.” Justyna says.

This is just one of my favorite takes from this assignment. It's too adorable to not post.
